Konferencja jest jednym z wydarzeń zaplanowanych w dniach 7-10 czerwca w ramach cyklu szkoleń młodych prawników oragnizowanych przez Advanced Legal Skills przy współpracy z ORA i OIRP. Konferencja poświęcona będzie stosowaniu wybranych instrumentów prawa unijnego w obszarze prawa cywilnego, karnego oraz w obszarze ochrony praw człowieka. Udział w konferencji potwierdzili:
1.Mgr. Miroslav Krutina is a prominent advocate practising criminal law in Prague, Czech Republic. He experience speaking on Czech and EU criminal law, and is a member of the criminal law committee of the CCBE. He will speak on the rights of suspects in Czech criminal procedural law.
2. Dr. Krisztián Kovács LL.M. is an academic from Budapest, and a practitioner in commercial law, primarily insolvency law. He has a PhD from the Central European University. He will speak on matters relating to the implementation of the insolvency directive.
3. Dr Magdalena Konopacka is an academic at the University of Gdańsk. She specialises in EU law, and will speak on matters relating to the implementation of the mediation directive in Polish law.
4. Dr Mirosław Wróblewski is the head of the Constitutional, International and European department of the Polish Ombudsman's Office. Among many other things, he has been a member of the management board of the European Union Fundamental Rights Agency from 2012-2017. He will speak on issues relating to fundamental rights protection in Polish law.
5. Alastair Hodge is a barrister at 5 Essex Court, London. He specialises in all aspects of employment law, is Master of the Bench of the Honourable Society of Inner Temple and Professor of Advocacy at Nottingham Law School, and is a highly experienced advocacy trainer at the Inner Temple Barrister Advocacy Training Programme.
6. Scott Matthewson is a barrister at 42 Bedford Row Chambers, London. He specialises in clinical negligence, personal injury and is an assistant coroner. He is a specialist advocacy trainer at the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, London.
